25-6, “When All Hell Breaks Loose”

“The Musk Factor” will be next time. Sorry for the title today but it sounds fitting for what’s on my heart.

We Americans have come to accept peace, security and opportunity as the norm, and few are spiritually, emotionally and physically prepared to deal with adversity.

Most probably have at least a whiff of an idea of how vulnerable our nation is, but denial and “It couldn’t happen to us” quickly rush in and we hide behind options ranging from comfort food to “faith declarations” to anti-depressants.

We forget (deny) that America has many enemies without and within who are bent on our destruction and are capable of initiating it. Our political recklessness in recent years has invited masses of them across our borders and they are embedded in our society as they wait. As recently seen in Israel, they are even in international agencies who were supposedly created to assure peace. “Peace” is a dicey word in the End Times.

President Trump is an inflammatory figure in a volatile environment. He stands between the preservation of, and the continued internal collapse of, the core values that have made America strong. In a certain way he stands between good and evil, and as already demonstrated he is a primary target for the enemies of our well-being.

MEMORY LOSS?
We forget how God responded to Israel when they turned their backs to Him, and we are under an illusion that we can somehow escape similar judgment. There is nothing that you can imagine nationally or internationally that couldn’t happen in the near future.

Nothing but the hand of God will see us through this inauguration and the establishment of a new government under Trump, or guide us through the chaos that will come to America sooner or later because we have abandoned God in these Last Days.

THE LAST WORD
In the Day to come, the difference for us will be in where we set our minds. If we respond out of abiding in the spirit of an earthly mindset we will crumble, but if we abide in Christ we will stand regardless of earthly circumstances even if it means suffering, loss – or death. Dare to trust Him, it matters – for you and those you love.

And Church, John 16:33, “THESE THINGS I HAVE SPOKEN TO YOU, SO THAT IN ME YOU MAY HAVE PEACE. IN THE WORLD YOU HAVE TRIBULATION, BUT TAKE COURAGE; I HAVE OVERCOME THE WORLD,” is still true.

There are many resources for you at www.john2031.com/2020/main.html, written in 2020 but even more relevant today! And be sure to read Jeremiah 17:7-8! Be fruitful, even in trials.
