We were blessed with another uneventful .Rituxan infusion. And the doctor was super pleased with the results of the blood work they did before the treatment.
The blood count was 11.7 which she described as remarkable at this stage, and she said that the other numbers are right where they need to be. And then no reactions in spite of running it in faster this time because of another appointment we had.
I reduced the risk of another upside down carrot cake fiasco by eating the top half first.
In addition to the excellent Rituxan treatments, we have seen God’s leading in dealing with several other physical needs that arose, and are very aware of the effect that the prayers of the saints is having in this overall experience. Thank you so much!
Here’s a photo of us last Sunday, our 62nd anniversary. The clock behind us symbolizes the passing of time. Elaine is holding her bouquet, which is showing its age, but so are we.
The three photos behind us are, L-R, Ken Jr., who died and entered into heaven in 2011 during emergency surgery for brain tumors; Brian, who followed him in an airplane accident here in Kidron in January 2019; and Mark, who now carries the torch of faith and godly enterprise.
They are on the mantle in our living room to remind us of the wonderful men of God they all became, and the joy they gave/give us for so many years. And now all nine grandchildren are Christ-followers, and the 11 great-grandsons are being raised to follow Him as well.
We are blessed beyond measure!
Ken, for both of us
