“HOW ARE WE DOING?” – Cont’d
Jesus, we know you are full of love and mercy and we’re hoping for some good scores here.
We’re not sure about folks in other countries, but we American Christians are suffering. Gas prices are going up and you know what that means for our SUV’s and RV’s. And we fear what an economic downturn would do to our 401K’s, CD’s and other investments for retirement. Life is getting hard here. Thanks for cutting us some slack.
Again, on a scale of 1 to 10, how do you rate us as compared to what you expect of “The Body of Christ”? How are we doing – -:
9) At proving to the world that you offer release for the prisoners, recovery of sight for the blind, and freedom for the oppressed? (Luke 4:18) Score:______
10) At building our life on the deep foundation of your Word? (Luke 6:46-49) Score:______
11) At being the good soil that produces a hundredfold? (Luke 8:5-15) Score:______
12) At denying ourselves and taking up our cross daily to follow you? (Luke 9:23-26) Score:______
