Let’s consider my Jan. 24 post as “HOUSE CHURCH – 1” and the first of this series.
There are no “one size fits all” formulas for preparing for the future, but there ARE principles, and house church or similar models can serve us well. They could be integrated into an institutional church now, and become a primary Church form when needed, but unfortunately most of us will need to take initiative ourselves outside of the IC. It’s time to get started, as Holy Spirit leads!
*Because of a growing sense that hardships for Christians are not far off, and that many leaders in the institutional church don’t take that seriously and won’t be able to give leadership. Let’s pray that God opens their minds and their eyes to this truth. They must embrace this reality now, and begin to reshape the church so it can do well in the time to come.
