The Warrior BRIDE – B
See Part A, Yesterday
So, we are not just warriors for what is right, but for our passion and love for our coming King. It’s the purity that is because of intimacy in our relationship with Christ. It’s a covenantal relationship that holds even if we lose our lives.
Sika Ulutoa: “The Bride refers to what Paul speaks of for husbands to love their wives as Christ loves His church, in Eph. 5:25-33. And it connects to the Parable of the 10-Virgins in Mt. 25:1-13, and to Isaiah 54:5, Rev. 19:7-9, and Rev. 21:2, 9. It’s referring to the relationship and the character of the church we are becoming.
That’s a short explanation of what I have been positioning myself and training myself to be in these days and days ahead. It’s my heart posture as I face this ungodly perverted world.”

Ken: I know that some object to calling the Church “the Bride of Christ.” Please rest that argument and try to feel the precious truths here of preparing ourselves for our Lord’s return by pursuing purity, and intimacy with Him, and by loving Him in the way that leads to obeying Him! (John 14:15, John 14:21-24) THAT is the Eph. 5:27, Col. 1:22 and II Peter 3:14 “bride” whom Jesus in returning for.
Have we been satisfied to try to be good enough to go to heaven when we die, with little commitment to becoming the bride that pleases Jesus? Have we been passive about holiness? (Read THE PROSTITUTE BRIDE)
Consider these scriptures:
Revelation 19:7-9 – Let’s rejoice and be glad and give the glory to Him, because the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His bride has prepared herself.” 8) It was given to her to clothe herself in fine linen, bright and clean; for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints. 9) Then he said to me, “Write: ‘Blessed are those who are invited to the wedding feast of the Lamb.’” And he said to me, “These are the true words of God.”
Rev. 21:2 – And I saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
Rev. 21:9 – Then one of the seven angels who had the seven bowls, full of the seven last plagues, came and spoke with me, saying, “Come here, I will show you the bride, the wife of the Lamb.”
