So, is America’s current administration and its degenerate policies simply “politics as usual,” or is it being allowed by a greater power as part of something bigger?
And how about Covid-19? And wars, earthquakes, drought, forest fires, floods and the atrocities of radical Islam? And the fact that Christians around the world are being persecuted in unprecedented numbers? And that Jesus is appearing to Muslims in dreams and they are coming to Him in droves?
And that Bible translation is accelerating at warp speed in preparation for Rev. 7:9-10?
And how about the fact that the church in America, and actually in Africa and other places where it is long established, has often become institutional in nature? It is “business as usual” with little sense of God at work or of the need to make major adjustments to be in step with Him. Meanwhile, many saints are awakening to our shallowness and are seeking Jesus afresh, outside of the institution.
Is this all coincidental or is God giving Satan enough rope to show the world how horrible he is? Is He turning up the Light of His truth, freedom and righteousness even as He allows the darkness of Satan’s lies and deception to get darker – – so they contrast in ways that many will see and choose Christ? Even ways like having John 16:33 peace in suffering; loving our enemies; and praying for those who abuse us?
Finally, are we ready for even greater darkness before the shaking of Hebrews 12:25-29 breaks our prideful shells to let His Light into us, which will then shine through us to those who need Him?
From one man he made all the nations,
and he marked out their appointed times in history
and the boundaries of their lands.
7 God did this so that they would seek him
and perhaps reach out for him and find him,
though he is not far from any one of us.
